Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are on the verge of signing Jorginho from Graham Potter’s Chelsea on January transfer deadline day.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Jorginho has agreed personal terms with Arsenal and will now undergo a medical at the Gunners.
Arsenal and Chelsea have agreed on a transfer fee as well, according to Romano.
The Gunners will pay £12 million for the 31-year-old Italy international midfielder.
Jorginho to leave Chelsea for Arsenal on January transfer deadline day

Good deal for the Gunners?
In our opinion, Jorginho will be a good signing for Arsenal, at least for the rest of the season.
The transfer fee is only £12 million.
That is really low in these days.
Yes, the Italian is 31 now, but he is still a very good player and will be able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal.
And that is more important than anything else right now.
The Gunners are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.
Mikel Arteta’s side are in a great position to win the title this season.
A player of Jorginho’s quality and calibre is only going to help in that quest.
