Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has been dealt a cruel injury blow.

Leeds United have revealed that Patrick Bamford is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are furious with the news.
The Whites have confirmed that the 25-year-old is set to be absent for four months due to the PCL injury he sustained in an Under-23s game during the international break.
Bamford only made the move to Elland Road in the summer for £10million (BBC) from Middlesbrough and has made a positive start.
The English centre-forward has had to play second fiddle to Kemar Roofe in the Championship and is yet to start in the league, but did score in the cup against Bolton.
He has been tipped to play an important role in Marcelo Bielsa’s side this campaign and will now have to watch on from the stands until the New Year.
Leeds will now have to rely on Roofe to continue being the main source of goals, while Bamford’s injury could open the door for a young player to emerge.

A selection of supporters are devastated that Bamford has been dealt a setback and are furious that he was risked in an Under-23s match.
