Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Destiny Udogie from Udinese in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Tottenham have a full agreement in place with Udinese over a €20 million (£17 million) deal for the left-back.
Romano has added that Tottenham managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, wanted to sign the 19-year-old Italian player.
The Italian journalist has further claimed that Udogie will stay on loan at Udinese for this season.

Destiny Udogie to join Tottenham Hotspur from Udinese
One for the future
Destiny Udogie is only 19 now, and we think that Tottenham Hotspur are signing the Italian left-back for the future.
Tottenham’s decision to let the teenager stay on loan at Udinese for another season shows that.
And it makes sense.
Udogie would struggle to play regularly for Tottenham this season, and given that he was a regular for Udinese during his loan spell from Hellas Verona last campaign, it would make sense for him to continue his development in Italy.
Udogie made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A last season.
The Italy Under-21 international left-back scored five goals and provided four assists in those games.
