Wolverhampton Wanderers academy graduate Morgan Gibbs-White has taken to Twitter to celebrate his maiden senior goal for the club at Molineux in the Europa League victory over Pyunik.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, leading 4-0 from the first leg in Armenia, broke the deadlock on 54 minutes through Neto’s first for the club, and four minutes later, Gibbs-White also got in on the action.

The Wolves academy graduate arrived in the box at speed and connected with Neto’s cross to slam home from close range, a significant goal on the night as it paved the way for two more and also cause for celebration from a personal perspective.

Gibbs-White took to Twitter with the following message, which prompted a positive reaction from some Wolves fans as well as former Molineux captain Karl Henry:

After rising through the ranks at Molineux, Gibbs-White went on to make his Premier League bow in the opening fixture of the 2018-19 season, while the year before, he experienced international glory by helping England win the Under-17 World Cup.

The midfielder, who made 31 appearances in all competitions for Wolves last season (Transfermarkt), also signed a new contract in early 2018, committing the next four-and-a-half seasons to Molineux.
