Arsenal are preparing to let a number of young players leave at the end of the season, but they’ve just added a hot prospect to their ranks.

Luke Plange is off to Derby County, Levi Laing has been on trial at West Ham United and Folarin Balogun could yet leave when his deal ends.

Arsenal aren’t taking their foot of the gas when it comes to youth recruitment though, as they have secured a deal for Henry Temi Davies.

The 16-year-old has been on the books at Manchester City having been spotted in London, but has now decided to return to the capital.

Rising Ballers have confirmed the news about Davies, stating that he has signed a one-year scholarship deal with a three-year professional deal included.

Chelsea allegedly wanted to sign the teenage midfielder too, but it’s Arsenal who have won the race for his signature.

Davies took to the comments on the Instagram post to thank fans for their congratulatory messages, confirming the move in the process.

A tall and technically gifted midfielder or winger, Davies looks to have huge potential – and Arsenal can consider this something of a coup.
