The Arsenal boss is into the final year of his current deal at the club.

Quoted by the London Evening Standard, Thierry Henry has once again warned Arsenal fans to be wary of what they wish for in asking Arsene Wenger to leave.
The Frenchman celebrated 20 years in charge of the club this year, the second longest spell in the Premier League era.
It is fair to say it has been a mixed time at the club for him, with the first 10 years trophy-laden and the second 10 one in which finishing fourth became their main aim, largely because of the move to the Emirates Stadium.
Recent years have seen Wenger come in for stern criticism over the lack of trophies, with some calling for him to depart.

He is currently in the final year of his deal and so far no indications have been made that he will extend it.
His departure would please those who wish to see change but Henry has warned them to beware what they wish for.
“Be careful what you wish for because when he’s not going to be around people are going to realise what he was doing at the time,” the London Evening Standard quotes him saying.
“It looks like finally, things are going the right way… It would be great if in his 20th season in charge he can win the title. But are they going to do it? The competition is massive.”

Should Wenger decide to leave the Emirates, one potential job for him could be as England manager.
The Three Lions are without a permanent boss following Sam Allardyce’s departure and Wenger has been touted as a potential replacement given his knowledge of the English game.
Henry, though, cannot see it happening because he thinks his former boss would miss the day-to-day management of club football.
“You can never say never, but I don’t see it happening,” he added.
“I said recently that Arsene likes being on the pitch on a daily basis, and that’s not the case when you coach a national team.”
