Everton owned exciting young forward Henry Onyekuru has taken to social media site Twitter to express his reaction on being selected for the Nigeria national squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Algeria and Argentina.

The 20-year-old made his senior debut for Nigeria in a 3-0 friendly win over Togo in June this year. However, this will be his first full international cap, and needless to say he is over the moon to represent his country.

Everton signed Onyekuru this summer for a reported fee of £7 million but loaned him out to Anderlecht as he was ineligible for a work permit.

The youngster is in his second season in Belgium. Last season he was superb for Eupen where he scored 22 goals.

This season, he has been in good form as well. The young forward has already netted six goals in 13 games in the Jupiler Pro League this season.

Most importantly, he is gaining good experience while playing in the Champions League. He is a top young talent, and Everton fans can’t wait to see him at Goodison Park next season.
