Everton’s Henry Onyekuru was in action for Nigeria against Egypt on Tuesday.

The first international break of 2019 has come to an end, and players will be returning to their clubs ahead of the return to domestic action this weekend.
Everton have been hit hard during the break, with Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina both picking up injuries with France and Colombia respectively.
Elsewhere, one of Everton’s loaned-out talents was in fine form, as forward Henry Onyekuru helped Nigeria claim a 1-0 win over Egypt.
It was Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu who scored the winner, finding the net inside 10 seconds of his full Nigeria debut to become an instant hero.
Onyekuru featured prominently around Onuachu though, and the duo have given Nigeria fans plenty to shout about after Tuesday’s victory.
Nigeria fans took to Twitter to hail Onyekuru, praising him as a ‘baller’ whilst noting that he’s ‘exciting’ and ‘amazing to watch’, even claiming he was having ‘the game of his life’.

Everton will understandably be excited about such reviews, with the 21-year-old set to return to Goodison Park this summer following a loan spell at Galatasaray.
Yet with work permit issues and major interest from elsewhere – Bayern Munich are keen according to the Liverpool Echo – there is a chance that the forward will move on permanently this summer, without even making his Everton debut, two years on from his move from Eupen.
