Everton snapped up Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru last week.
Everton’s new signing Henry Onyekuru has told Het Laatste Nieuws that he completed a medical with Paris Saint-Germain before joining the Toffees.
Onyekuru, 20, became a star in Belgium last season with KAS Eupen, as he hit 24 goals and nine assists in all competitions last season.

The Nigerian forward unsurprisingly caught the eye ahead of the summer transfer window, and he has now made his big move away from Eupen.
Last week, Everton won the race for Onyekuru’s signature, but immediately loaned him back to Belgium by sending him to Anderlecht for next season.
Onyekuru will now earn guaranteed first-team football with Anderlecht before returning to Everton in 2018, where he will be hoping to make a real impact in the Premier League.
The youngster has now discussed his big move, by speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws – and it seems that Everton’s swoop to sign Onyekuru was even more of a coup than first thought.

Onyekuru has revealed he underwent a medical with Champions League giants Paris Saint-Germain, but they were attempting to rush him into a decision about a deal, prompting his agent to cancel the move.
“I had even completed my medical at PSG, but for the Parisians, it all had to be very fast,” said Onyekuru. “In two hours’ time, I had to decide. My agent eventually ended the deal, but I was actually at PSG,” he added.
