Henrikh Mkhitaryan spoke to Corriere Dello Sport about his future at Arsenal amid transfer rumours.
The Armenian is currently on loan at AS Roma where he has looked a lot more comfortable than he did in the Premier League.
Multiple reports have emerged over the last few weeks that Roma will try to make his move permanent and it looks like that is Mkhitaryan’s wish as well.
“My time in London is over, I hope you manage to find an agreement with Roma because my desire is to remain,” Mkhitaryan said.
It is almost certain now that Mkhitaryan will leave the Gunners permanently this summer and his transfer fee will be a welcome addition in these difficult times.
The Armenian’s Premier League career really is a shame. Mkhitaryan was outstanding for Borussia Dortmund during his time there but he failed to replicate the same form in England.

The 31-year-old played 122 times for Arsenal and Manchester United combined but managed just 22 goals and 24 assists in all competitions.
He is almost a quarter of the way there in terms of direct goal contributions in Roma’s colours despite starting only 17 times for them, which is why a permanent move makes a lot of sense.
