Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan – and he’s instantly taken to Twitter to send a message to United fans.
The Red Devils had already snapped up Ivorian international defender Eric Bailly and big-name striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and have now splashed the cash on Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan, 27, has been a star for Borussia Dortmund ever since signing from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013, and enjoyed his finest campaign for the Bundesliga side last season.
The Armenian international hit 18 goals and 20 assists in all competitions for Dortmund last season, and has now moved on to join Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, with Sky Sports recently claiming that the deal has cost United around £26.3m.

Mkhitaryan now joins Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and the aforementioned Ibrahimovic in what could be a devastating United attack, and is likely to play on the right hand side of midfield under Mourinho.
This is a big signing for United, and the player has taken to Twitter in order to send a message to United fans, claiming his move is a ‘dream come true’, having always admired the club.
United fans will be hoping that Mkhitaryan will be more of a success than the last player who swapped Dortmund for Old Trafford, after Shinji Kagawa struggled to make an impact at United.
With a proven record of goals and assists, this looks to be a top signing for United – and it’s clear from his tweet just how much this move means to Mkhitaryan.
