Henri Lansbury has endured another difficult season because of injuries at Aston Villa.

Forgotten Aston Villa man Henri Lansbury has posted on Instagram that he is delighted to be back in training after a ‘frustrating time’ on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old has only played eight minutes of Championship football during this campaign [transfermarkt] because he has had to contend with a number of injury battles.
Added with that, during the previous season under then-manager Steve Bruce, he played only 10 league games with injuries and a lack of game time playing their part in that.
However, on Monday, he posted on his official Instagram account that there is no ‘better feeling’ than being back in training with his teammates.
It remains to be seen how much Lansbury will feature for Dean Smith as the Championship enters its final few months, with the former Forest man behind a number of midfielders in the pecking order.
At this moment in time, the likes of Glenn Whelan, Conor Hourihane, John McGinn, Jack Grealish and January signing Tom Carroll are all ahead of him in the battle to play in the midfield.

Before Lansbury tries to prove his worth to Smith, he will want to regain his fitness and stay away from the injury room because the latter has been his biggest problem since he joined the club in January 2017.
Since his arrival, he has only played 33 matches in all competitions for Villa. Compare that with fellow midfielder, Hourihane, who also joined at the same time as Lansbury, he has made 100 appearances in the Claret & Blue shirt.
