Aston Villa midfielder Henri Lansbury has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Norwich City at the weekend.
Villa continued their good run of form with a 2-0 victory over Norwich at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Jonathan Kodjia put the Villans in the lead in the 25th minute, and the 27-year-old forward doubled the advantage in the 87th minute.
Lansbury has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the win for Steve Bruce’s side.
Villa are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 54 points from 39 matches.
The Villans are 10 points behind Fulham, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
It is a bit too late for Bruce’s side to launch a challenge for the playoffs, but if they maintain their good form until the end of the season, then it could give them a strong platform for next season.
