New Aston Villa signing Henri Lansbury has been speaking for the first time since completing his move from Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest on Friday.
The midfielder told the club’s official website he was 100 per cent focused on the new chapter in his life, hopeful of guiding Villa into a promotion spot come May.

Lansbury, 26, moves across the Midlands in a move BBC Sport report to be close to £2.75 million.
Leaving Forest as captain, the sacking of Philippe Montanier as boss last week sees Lansbury depart for pastures new. With Steve Bruce making additions to his side for a promotion push, the former Watford and Norwich city man hopes to become an instrumental part of that.
Lansbury told avfc.co.uk: “I am delighted to be here at Aston Villa. As soon as I knew Aston Villa were interested, I wanted to come here.
“It’s the size and reputation of the football club that attracted me. It’s a big, big name in the English game and I can’t wait to get started here now.”

Lansbury added: “We want to be back where we belong. 10 points in this league is nothing. You go on a run of results and win games on the bounce and you’re back in the mix.
“I am sure we will be fighting for it at the end of the season.”
