Snodgrass starred on loan from West Ham at Villa last season.

Henri Lansbury and a handful of other Aston Villa players have sent a cheeky message to ex-Villa loanee and West Ham United star Robert Snodgrass, with just hours remaining in the January window.
Snodgrass, 31, was in sensational form for Aston Villa during a season-long loan spell last season, in which he scored eight goals and crated 13 more during 43 league and cup appearances.
He has since returned to West Ham from his loan spell at Villa, and continued his excellent form. He has broken into Manuel Pellegrini’s side and is first choice, scoring four and creating seven this season.
Lansbury took a group photo alongside James Chester, Glenn Whelan, Alan Hutton and Mark Bunn, with a face drawn onto the photo – cheekily tagged as Snodgrass. Lansbury captioned the photo: The pic we sent to Snoddy this morning.”
It is unclear what the message is behind the photo. Villa have not been linked with a move to sign the ex-Leeds United, Norwich City and Hull City winger, and he has a contract at West Ham until the summer of 2020.
Snodgrass is unlikely to leave West Ham at the minute, though, especially with Villa sitting way down in 10th place and four points off the Championship play-offs.
