Henri Lansbury is still waiting to score a competitive goal for Aston Villa.
Henri Lansbury has admitted to The Birmingham Mail that he was “frustrated” at being unable to score for Aston Villa last season.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Villans from Nottingham Forest in January for £2.75 million.
However, the Arsenal academy product failed to score in any of his 19 Championship appearances for Aston Villa, having hit six goals for Forest in the first half of the season.

Lansbury also failed to register an assist under Steve Bruce following his move and he is determined to put things right next season.
He told The Birmingham Mail; “It’s what my game is all about. It was frustrating not to score last season. I’ve got to be patient and I’m sure it will come.”
Lansbury netted 32 Championship goals for Nottingham Forest during his five-year stay.
Aston Villa kick off their domestic season with the visit of Hull City at Villa Park on August 5.
