Jordan Henderson has stated that Mohamed Salah has been ‘incredible’ For Liverpool after their 3-3 draw at Brentford on Saturday evening, as he told BBC Sport.

It was an action-packed game in the capital yesterday, as Liverpool and Brentford battled it out in a six-goal thriller.

Salah netted his 100th Premier League goal for Liverpool – the fastest to do so from those players that have graced the Anfield turf – but it wasn’t enough in the Reds’ hopes of securing all three points.

In truth, the Egyptian speedster should have made it 4-2, when his side were 3-2 up, but you can’t expect him to finish off every opportunity that is handed to him.

After the game, Henderson, who provided a Trent Alexander-Arnold-like cross for Liverpool’s opening goal, had nothing but praise for Salah.

On 100 PL goals for the Reds: “Incredible moment,” said Henderson. “He’s been incredible ever since he came to the club. He’s a fantastic lad.”

At the age of 29, Salah is still at the peak of his powers as a player and has years and years of top-quality performances ahead of him.

And to think, even right now, he would probably get into Liverpool’s greatest ever XI, then that says a lot about the impact he has had on the Merseyside club.

Salah wasn’t a player everybody was going for when Klopp signed him, but someone who probably would have been off-putting to others because of his Chelsea past.

But he picked himself up from the floor after that spell at Stamford Bridge, Klopp saw something in the player and now the rest is history.
