Some Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the Ibrox club with Josh Maja.

Rangers are interested in signing Maja from Bordeaux in the summer transfer window, according to Get French Football News.

The Gers have reportedly identified the former Sunderland striker as a possible replacement for Alfredo Morelos, who has agreed personal terms with French club Lille, according to Sky Sports.

Get French Football News has claimed that Rangers will open talks with French outfit Bordeaux this week over the possible signing of the 21-year-old striker.

The youngster has not been great in France, with the striker making six starts and 15 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Bordeaux this past season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

However, Maja is only 21 years of age, and the Nigeria international showed a lot of potential and maturity when he was at Sunderland in England.
