AC Milan fans on Twitter weren’t too pleased to hear that they are seemingly keen on signing Tottenham defender Serge Aurier.
Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Aurier has agreed to leave Tottenham and join Serie A giants, AC Milan.
Aurier is Tottenham’s only senior and bonafide right-back at the club and two players may be needed to be brought in if he leaves.
AC Milan fans on Twitter were pretty annoyed at the rumours that Aurier could join them, as they’re not keen on the player because of the various problems in his game.
During the recently concluded Premier League season, Aurier’s form was more down than up, as he struggled to cut out the mistakes in his game.
From picking up needless yellow cards to giving away needless penalties, the AC Milan fans simply don’t want their club to sign the Spurs player.
It could be argued that either under a coach like Jose Mourinho or in a league like Serie A then Aurier’s defensive game could improve because both are known for their defending.
