Randers are expecting Tosin Kehinde to leave after Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers scouted the former Manchester United youngster, sporting director Soren Pedersen tells Danish publication Bold.

We are only a couple of weeks into the Michael Beale era at QPR but the early signs look, well, rather positive.

In Kenneth Paal and Jake Clarke-Salter, The Rs have successfully reinforced the most porous defence in the top half of the Championship with an exciting young left-back and a centre-half with a proven track record in the second tier.

What’s more, Beale is confident that QPR are under no pressure to cash in on their key players either. Speculation regarding the futures of Rob Dickie, Ilias Chair and the ever-improving Chris Willock remains conspicuous by it’s absence.

Chair and Willock are two of the most dangerous attacking midfielders in the whole of the division. And if Kehinde was to join them at Loftus Road, Beale would have more than enough creativity in his ranks to push for a top-six spot.

“We are working on that. He is also interested in moving on, so it is clearly something that we are looking at,” explains Pedersen.

“There has been ongoing interest in him. There is nothing concrete on my table but there are clubs that follow him and who are interested in him.

“So I think he will leave this summer.”

According to All Nigeria Soccer, QPR director Les Ferdinand scouted Kehinde during Randers’ UEFA Conference League clash with Leicester City in the spring. The skilful, versatile forward, who can play on the left, on the right or through the middle, contributed six goals and eight assists to the cause in 2021/22.

“Tosin is growing strong in Denmark,” says Emmanuel Oluwole Idowu, Kehinde’s agent. “He has developed and I think it’s time to move on.

“(Randers) will be happy for him to take a step up. So it’s not going to be difficult for him to leave in the summer. We have options in the German Bundesliga, France and England.

“And we are going to make the best possible decision.”
