Harry Redknapp has told The Scottish Sun that Ibrox club Rangers should appoint Frank Lampard as the new manager of the Gers.
Redknapp believes that Lampard would be perfect for Rangers.
Rangers are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United boss Redknapp has urged Rangers to bring the 43-year-old Lampard to Ibrox.
What Harry Redknapp has said
Redknapp told The Scottish Sun: “It’s got to be Frank, hasn’t it? He’ll go there. I’d take him all day long. Steven Gerrard then Frank Lampard — sounds good to me.
“If you’re looking at like for like then Frank’s perfect — over 100 caps for England, won everything as a player, great football man, top manager, made for the highest level.
“Frank could do it no problem. He’s got great knowledge of the game and is a hard worker.
“Frank could retire if he wanted to because he’s done very well for himself in football, but he’s still got that desire to get back in since he left Chelsea.”

Would Frank Lampard be good for Rangers?
Gerrard did not have full-time first-team management experience when he came to Rangers.
And look at what he did.
Under the Liverpool legend, Rangers won the Scottish Premiership title last season and also reached the Europa League Round of 16.
Rangers are at the top of the league table at the moment and could also progress to the latter stages of the Europa League this season.
Lampard already has a good amount of experience in management at the top level.
The 43-year-old guided Derby County to the Championship playoff final and then led Chelsea to the Premier League top four.
Rangers should at least hold talks with Lampard.
