‘He'll change people's opinions’: Some Newcastle fans react to player’s display yesterday

Some Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joelinton against Sheffield United at the weekend.

Joelinton scored for Newcastle in their 3-0 victory over United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

The 23-year-old striker found the net in the 78th minute for only his second goal in the Premier League this season.

Some Newcastle fans were impressed with the display produced by the former Hoffenheim striker, and so was ex-Magpies player Ryan Taylor, as shown in the following posts on Twitter.

Confidence boost

Joelinton has struggled in the Premier League this season, and he needed that goal against United.

The Brazilian is a very good striker and at the age of 23, he is still quite young.

Perhaps the goal against the Blades will boost the confidence of the striker, and he could now go on to bang in a few more goals in the remaining games of the season.

Newcastle are back in action on Wednesday evening when they take on Aston Villa at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
