Stuart Holden has claimed on Twitter that Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams will be off to a ‘top level’ Champions League club if he continues his current form amid his recent World Cup performances in Qatar.
The USA captain produced a Man of the Match display during his side’s goalless draw against England on Friday and Holden thinks he has been ‘outstanding’ at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Doha.
The 23-year-old signed for Leeds during the summer transfer window when Jesse Marsch’s side paid £20 million to RB Leipzig (Sky Sports) for the rising American star.
Many Leeds fans would probably agree that he has been one of his side’s better players this season, but former Premier League midfielder and USA international Holden thinks if he continues on this current road, then he will be Champions League-bound.
KALVIN PHILLIPS WARMS THE BENCH AS ADAMS SHINES
Kalvin Phillips was the one who opened the door for Adams to join Leeds because he headed for Manchester City in the summer.
Well, since his exit from Elland Road, whilst his replacement has thrived, the player himself has struggled with injuries, game time and form.

He could probably count himself lucky that he made Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad because his form or minutes weren’t deserving of it, that’s for sure.
But whilst Adams was bossing proceedings against the likes of Jude Bellingham, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Mason Mount and Bukayo Saka.
Phillips was watching on from the bench because Leeds have possibly found an upgrade on the man they let go.
