Tim Sherwood has claimed that Tottenham boss Antonio Conte may never have had a situation where someone of Daniel Levy’s standing is always present in training, as he told Premier League Daily.
The former title-winner suggested that Conte will be asking the Tottenham chairman ‘what he has been doing today?’, whilst someone like Fabio Paratici will be ‘getting it in the earhole’.
The new man in Tottenham’s dugout is a very demanding coach and someone who doesn’t take any nonsense from anybody.
But it’s what Spurs need if they are to move forward and put trophies in their cabinet.
Sherwood knows exactly what it’s like dealing with Levy and being at that Tottenham training ground under that immense pressure.
And he shared how things might unfold with Conte now at Hotspur Way.
“This man (Conte) is very demanding,” said Sherwood. “He’ll see Daniel Levy there every day.
“I’m not sure he has ever had that sort of dynamic before when he goes into training every day and he sees the president of the football club there.
“He will be asking Daniel ‘what he has been doing today?’ I am sure. And Paratici will be getting it in the earhole as well.”

The key man in all of this is Paratici because he is like the comfort blanket in between the Conte and Levy relationship.
Whilst many look towards Conte in the dugout, his fellow countryman upstairs might just play an equally important role during these coming years in North London.
This isn’t a case of just fixing Spurs on the field of play, but also improving their decision-making away from the pitch.
Both Conte and Paratici are proven in Italy, and as a partnership, now it’s a case of the promises being met and the club delivering on what their new manager wants.
