Helder Costa has responded to Crysencio Summerville’s post on Instagram after he made his debut for Leeds United against Newcastle United last night.
Summerville featured for Leeds in their Premier League game against Newcastle away from home at St. James’ Park.
It ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 19-year-old Dutch winger came on as a substitute for Raphinha midway through the second half.
The teenager has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his debut for Leeds, and Costa has responded to him.
The 27-year-old winger joined Valencia on loan from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
Summerville is only 19 and has a bright future ahead of him.
That Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa decided to hand the Netherlands Under-19 international winger his debut shows just how highly he rates him.
The winger had a pass accuracy of 92.3%, took 17 touches, made two dribbles, and put in one cross.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has said that despite the draw with Newcastle, Leeds will not get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Bielsa’s side are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with three points from five matches, a point above the relegation zone.
Leeds Live quotes Carragher as saying: “Both teams are in front of a passionate crowd, I think Leeds have more quality, the way they play, last season will give them confidence and I have no fears in Leeds being in a relegation fight.”
