Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after TuttoMercatoWeb reported that they’re back in for Milan Skriniar.
The defender has been linked with a move to Spurs for over 12 months at this point, and despite the fact the club have a new manager and a new Sporting Director, it seems as though he’s still a target.
Indeed, the report states that Spurs have actually made an approach for the Inter Milan ace this summer.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on how Inter reacted to this approach or if Spurs are willing to formalise their interest with an official bid, but it’s exciting to hear that the London outfit are chasing the Serie A star, especially after they were reportedly rejected by Jules Kounde.
Skriniar would bring some much-needed quality to Spurs’ backline, and as you can imagine, Tottenham supporters are excited by the idea of the 26-year-old joining Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad.
