Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to Jesse Lingard’s performance on his debut for West Ham United.
The Manchester United loanee got off to a flying start to his career at West Ham, bagging a brace, and as you can imagine, Tottenham fans had a lot to say about that after being strongly linked with a move for him last month.
Unfortuantely for Spurs, West Ham secured his loan signing and now they’re being left to regret that decision.
Of course, it’s only one game and Lingard still has a lot to prove, but the early signs suggest that the midfielder will be something of an astute addition for the Hammers and that Tottenham have missed out here.
