Everton are said to be interested in bringing Hector Herrera to Goodison Park this summer.

Everton are said to be keen on the 28-year-old, who has proven his quality with Mexico at the World Cup.
And if Everton do manage to bring in Herrera in, he could be a great addition to Marco Silva’s squad.

Silva loves to play with a high-pressing style, which enables his full-backs to push on into advanced areas.
The Portuguese boss also wants his midfielders to be comfortable in possession and win the physical battle.
Silva’s style, which encourages fast transitions, and looks to get his teams playing in the front-foot is not all that dissimilar to Mexico’s, where Herrera has thrived.

Herrera has been a linchpin of his country’s team over a number of years, and he could thrive at Everton.
Herrera would bring physicality and energy to Everton’s midfield, and Silva could be the perfect manager to get the very best out of him next season.
