Tyler Roberts joined Leeds United in the January transfer window.

Roberts joined Championship outfit Leeds from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £2.5 million.
The 19-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, has yet to make a competitive appearance for the West Yorkshire outfit since his January switch due to ankle injury.

Leeds head coach Heckingbottom has suggested that the Elland Road faithful will not see Roberts in action this season.
Heckingbottom told Leeds Live when asked if Roberts will play before the end of the season: “It’s pointless us rushing him.
“It’s probably touch and go for when he is fit regarding the end of the season, but I would like for him, Luke Ayling to be back with the players before we break up for the summer.”

Disappointing update
Roberts is a very talented and promising young attacking player, and one suspects that Leeds fans would have loved to see him in action and judge how good he is and can be for the club.
It is unfortunate that the Wales Under-21 international is injured at the moment, but hopefully he will recover fully in time for next season.
Leeds will be aiming to challenge for the Championship playoffs next season, and Roberts will be looking to establish himself as a key player in the team for the quest.
