Hearts and Rangers already have quite the storied history, and with this season being the latter’s first back in the top flight it makes their clashes all the more mouth-watering. Now, as reported by Daily Record, the game has an extra level of spice as it will be played on St Andrew’s Night following fixture rearrangements.

The decision was made by the SPFL and is one of four games to be shifted to another date. It was originally scheduled to take place next Friday, however due to Rangers’ semi-final against Celtic it had to be moved to another date.

The game at Tynecastle is sure to be a fiery one, with both sides finding themselves in the mix at the top of the Scottish Premier League table in 3rd and 5th. Whether or not they can start to push on and challenge runaway leaders Celtic remains to be seen, but either way they will have their sights firmly set on the top two at the very least.

With so much emphasis put on TV games these days, it will be interesting to see how both sides fare in front of the BT Sport cameras when the game takes place in November 30th.
