The new Hearts recruit turned down a contract renewal at Sheffield Wednesday.

Four months after his Sheffield Wednesday contract expired, Sean Clare finally started a senior game of football.
Having twice appeared as a substitute for new club Hearts in recent weeks, the midfielder got the nod for Wednesday’s Edinburgh derby against Hibernian after another ex-Owl, Steven MacLean, dropped out of the team.
Clare impressed after breaking into the Sheffield Wednesday side at the start of the year, but suffered an injury in March from which he has only recently recovered.
And despite being offered fresh terms at Hillsborough, the 22-year-old opted instead to explore his options on the free agent market.

Clare claimed to have Premier League clubs chasing his signature, but it was in Scotland, with Hearts, that he eventually rocked up in mid-September.
But what do Hearts fans make of their latest recruit, amid all the hype?
Here is what is being said on Twitter
Clare’s side were held to a 0-0 draw by Hibernian, who played the final half an hour a man light and had manager Neil Lennon struck by a coin.
Should Clare have stuck with Sheffield Wednesday?
