Ross County striker Liam Boyce’s suitors have been alerted that the player has a £500,000 buy-out clause in his contract, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
A number of clubs in England and Scotland are tracking Boyce following his goalscoring exploits for Ross County this season.
Boyce is the joint-top scorer in the Scottish Premiership with 21 goals in the league and he scored his 22nd goal of the campaign last weekend against Dundee to secure Ross County ’s Premiership safety.
Boyce has been in red-hot form of late, scoring seven goals in his last five games, including a four-goal salvo Highland derby victory over Inverness which helped him earn the Premiership player of the month award for April.
Ross County’s Liam Boyce is interesting Hearts and Aberdeen
Several English Championship sides as well as Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts and Aberdeen are chasing Boyce with the Northern Ireland international bettering last season’s tally of 20 goals.
Boyce has one year left on his contract at Ross County and a number of his suitors are preparing moves to lure him away from Dingwall.
Ross County are reluctant to lose their prize asset, but with news that the player has a £500,000 release clause in his contract they will be powerless to keep him if someone meets his buy-out this summer.
