Some Southampton fans on social media have been reacting to recent reports linking Man City with a move for Danny Ings.
Ings has been linked with plenty of moves away as of late, with Tottenham reportedly also interested, and it seems as though he’s hot property at the moment.
You can understand why these big clubs are looking at Ings, he’s a proven goalscorer at this level, and with his contract expiring in 2022, he could be available for a cut-price fee.
Man City are the latest club to be linked with a move for Ings, and as you can imagine, Saints fans have had plenty to say about these reports.
Some supporters seem to be resigned to losing him, with one fan claiming that his head has already been turned. However, some other supporters had a different view on the matter, questioning why City would want a player like Ings when there are more glamourous options out there such as Erling Haaland.
This is certainly a transfer saga worth following in the coming months, and the St Mary’s faithful had plenty to say about these rumours online.
