Juan Mata’s form for Manchester United has eclipsed Arsenal rival Mesut Ozil in 2015/16.

Manchester United take on Arsenal this weekend, hoping to strike a major early blow in the race to win the Premier League title.
Arsenal need record signing Mesut Ozil to step up, while Manchester United will simply hope Juan Mata can maintain his outstanding form, which turned the midweek game against Wolfsburg.
Ozil was not so effective in their home defeat to Olympiacos, and will need to improve this Sunday at The Emirates.
Across Premier League and Champions League games this season, Mata has scored four goals, while Ozil is yet to find the back of the net.
The Manchester United ace’s four assists also better’s Ozil’s three, even though the German has created nine more goalscoring opportunities, which asks a separate question over the quality of Arsenal’s strikers.
Mata also betters Ozil in terms of passing accuracy, and recovering possession back for his team, with his work rate making him a key part of Louis van Gaal’s side.
Ozil was once described by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as the best number 10 in the world, reported Marca, while he made his feelings on Mata clear by selling him to Manchester United.
Yet this season it is the Spaniard who has been the better player, and is the more in-form of the two heading into Sunday’s huge clash.
