Some Leeds United fans on social media have been making their voices heard after TeamTalk reported that the club are looking at Ross Barkley on loan in January.
The online outlet claims that the Whites are looking at the Chelsea midfielder on loan with an option to buy, and as you can imagine, that sparked something of a discussion online.
Barkley is something of a polarising player. During his younger days at Everton he looked as though he had all of the talent in the world. He even made England’s World Cup squad back in 2014 at the age of just 20.
However, in recent years it’s fair to say he’s regressed. Struggling to make the grade at Chelsea and failing to impress last season on loan at Aston Villa.
Despite his recent struggles, Leeds fans online are rather excited about the prospect of Barkley coming to Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa certainly has a knack of getting the best out of players and if he can work his magic with Barkley then Leeds could really benefit from this signing.
