Liverpool fans appear to be unanimous about the Tottenham Hotspur player they would like to replace the Brazilian.
Liverpool fans are bracing themselves for Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona, after the Brazilian handed in a transfer request at Anfield on Friday.
Liverpool have so far resisted Barca’s attempts to land Coutinho, insisting he will not be sold. But with player power perhaps stronger now than ever before, it is perhaps only a matter of time until the Reds concede defeat.

Having previously shared their club’s confidence, Liverpool fans are also beginning to turn, focusing on potential replacements for the playmaker who scored or created 20 goals during last season’s Premier League campaign.
And Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli is proving a popular choice, as one of only five midfielders to better Coutinho’s tally – although each one played at least 600 more minutes than the Reds man.
Alli (25 goals and assists) famously came close to signing for Liverpool two and a half years ago, and even visited the club’s Melwood training facility before choosing Tottenham instead.
And many believe they could, finally, lure the 21-year-old – who is widely reported to have grown up a Liverpool supporter – to Anfield this summer.
