Speaking on Tottenham Hotspur’s Twitter page, Harry Winks has been discussing players who stay late at training.

You often hear stories about how elite players such as Cristiano Ronaldo staying late after training every day to perfect their game.

According to Winks, there are a couple of Spurs players who often stay at Hotspur Way late.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane stays and works on his finishing quite a lot, while Joe Rodon also stays late to work on his passing ability.

What’s been said?

Winks spoke about how hard Rodon works.

“Joe Rodon is out there a lot, he works a lot on his passing onto the net after training and he stays out a bit. Harry Kane with his finishing as well, he stays out there too,” Winks said.

Impressing Conte

The fact that Rodon is working so hard on improving his game will surely catch Antonio Conte’s eye sooner or later.

Thus far, Conte has been ignoring Rodon as an option in his squad, but if the Welshman keeps plugging away and improving his passing, Conte may have no choice but to sit up and take notice.

Rodon certainly seems to have the right attitude, and with Conte seemingly on the lookout for ball-playing centre-halves, Rodon has the chance to make his mark.
