Ian Wright thinks Tottenham striker Harry Kane could ‘regret’ his recent actions, as he told the Kelly and Wrighty Show.
The TV pundit thinks Kane staying at Spurs might come back to haunt the England captain if he doesn’t win the Premier League title by the time his career is finished.
All summer long, there have been well-documented noises about Kane wanting to move to Manchester City.
From Kane having to come out and deny that he missed training to then sharing this week that he is staying put in North London ‘this summer’, as he posted on Twitter.
It has left many asking questions as to what will happen to Kane’s career going forward, as Wright delivered a quite blunt message to the Spurs man.
“At the end of the day, what it will come down to,” said Wright. “If he finishes his career, and he hasn’t got a Premier League medal and is around the top two or three goalscorers, he will regret that.
“Whatever he is doing now. I really hope he has thought it through. His brother gets a bit of stick, in respect with the way it has gone and the negotiations have gone. No clause or whatever.
“But I feel, whatever happens, if he hasn’t won the Premier League by the time he has finished then he will regret what he has done.”

It’s quite simple really, Levy had every right to act in the manner that he did because it’s Kane who signed a bumper six-year deal in 2018, not the Spurs chairman.
Even if Kane asks to move next summer, once again, Levy has every right to demand as much as possible for his player.
But given that Kylian Mbappe could be available for free and Erling Braut Haaland might also be on the market, then Kane might find that not many will push for his signature.
Although this is perhaps a second chance for Levy to back the new man in Tottenham’s dugout and try to get the club back into the Champions League, so by this time next year, Kane’s ambitions are being met.
