Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has hinted that Patrick Bamford will play against Fulham at his latest press conference, which was covered by Leeds Live.
Leeds are set to take on Fulham tomorrow evening, and they will be buoyed by the news that their star striker is fit.
There were concerns about Bamford’s availability, after he hobbled off in their last game against Chelsea at the weekend.
However, Bamford seems to have shaken off those issues, and will quickly be back in Leeds’ starting line-up.
Liam Cooper, Rodrigo and Leif Davis are more doubtful though.
He said: “We think that yes, he will play on Friday. He has a knock on his hip that is painful but we don’t think it will make him miss the game.
“Cooper is sick, Davis has a small articulation problem which is not serious.
“Rodrgio had a contracture yesterday in training which I don’t know if he’s going to be available on Friday. Either way it’s not an important injury.”
Bamford’s availability for Leeds is a major boost to the club, as they push to get back to winning ways.
Leeds have failed to win any of their last three matches, but their chances of success this evening are greatly increased with Bamford involved.
The front man has enjoyed a wonderful season and it is thought that he could be named in the England squad, which comes out later this week.
