Mark Lawrenson has predicted on BBC Sport that Liverpool’s Mo Salah’s time on the sidelines is about to come to an end.

Liverpool are due to take on Crystal Palace tomorrow, as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to pick up their first victory since the return.

Salah was kept on the bench in Liverpool’s first game back, as they picked up a 0-0 draw with Everton.

The Egyptian was badly missed by the Reds, who didn’t carry their usual attacking threat without him.

But Lawrenson believes that Salah will lead Liverpool to victory tomorrow.

“Liverpool huffed and puffed against Everton, and we saw a few things that we suspected already. Takumi Minamino is a work in progress, the Reds miss Andy Robertson at left-back, and they can be short of a spark in attack when Mohamed Salah is absent,” he said.

“Salah will play in this game though, and that is one of the reasons I think Liverpool will win. I am expecting to see at least another 25% from the Reds, and even if they don’t play well, I don’t see Palace scoring.”

Salah’s return for Liverpool can only be considered a major boost, as he is such a vital player for them.

Andy Robertson could also be involved against Palace, which should make Klopp’s side a bigger threat.

Liverpool are now so close to winning the Premier League title, and have a 20 point lead over Manchester City.
