Darren Bent has told talkSPORT that former Leeds United boss Marcelo Biesla would be a good managerial appointment for Everton as a replacement for Frank Lampard.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker believes that Bielsa would make Everton work hard and will make the Toffees harder.

According to talkSPORT, Everton have decided to sack Lampard as the manager.

The report has claimed that Bielsa, 67, is an early contender for the role at Goodison Park.

Good managerial appointment for the Toffees?

In our view, Marcelo Bielsa would be a good managerial appointment for Everton.

The 67-year-old is one of the best managers out there, and he would be able to make an immediate impact at Goodison Park.

Bielsa was brilliant at Leeds, and he knows fully well how to be successful, both in the Premier League and in the Championship.

Everton are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Now, if Bielsa is not able to keep the Toffees in the Premier League, then, given his experience of taking Leeds up from the Championship, he will be able to do it at the Merseyside club as well.
