
Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Braut Haaland will end up at Liverpool, eventually, Red Bull Salzburg director Christoph Freund has told Sky90, translated by Welt.

Leeds-born Haaland has already admitted playing at Anfield in last season’s Champions League group stage was a “dream come true”.
And, according to a man who played a key role in his £17 million move to Dortmund in January, the Norwegian goal-machine will one day be back on Merseyside in a more permanent capacity.
“He will land there (at Liverpool),” Freund said when asked about the chances of Haaland joining Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders.
“He could play for all the clubs in the world. With his mentality, his will and his self-confidence, he will be able to make a mark on European football over the next ten years.”

With all due respect to a bonafide continental giant, Dortmund are perhaps the selling club to end all selling clubs.
And, with a £68 million release clause due to come into effect in 2022, Haaland is surely set to follow in the footsteps of Ousmana Dembele, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic eventually (Fabrizio Romano).
Arguably the most lethal finisher in Europe not called Robert Lewandowski, Haaland has scored 52 goals in 50 games since the start of 2019/20.
