Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Takumi Minamino on the club’s official website following his performance against Arsenal.
Klopp was impressed by Minamino’s goal and performance for Liverpool against Arsenal at Anfield last night.
The 26-year-old came on as a substitute and scored in the 77th minute.
Liverpool won the Premier League match 4-0.
Takumi Minamino praise
Klopp said about Minamino: “You can’t imagine how happy I am with Taki, he is in an incredible moment and he was actually our solution for pretty much four positions to change, I think, because that’s how the squad looked.
“It was like he could have played first five positions – he could have played both eight positions and then all three up-front.
“He is in a really good moment, you see that, he played for Japan in the international games and now he is here and very important for us.
“Everybody was so happy for him that he scored the goal. The way he played today reflects really good how he trains in the moment. He will have games, there is no doubt about that.”

Encouraging for Takumi Minamino
Minamino is essentially an attacking player who can operate as the playmaker or as a winger.
Klopp seems to suggest that the Japan international is able to play in a number of positions in his system.
That is certainly encouraging for the 26-year-old.
Klopp saying that the former RB Salzburg star will get more chances is certainly music to the ears of the Japan international.

Minamino has made two starts in the Carabao Cup so far this season.
He scored three goals.
However, the 26-year-old has yet to start in the Premier League or in the Champions League for Liverpool this season.
We know that Liverpool have a strong attacking unit.
However, Klopp will need fringe players such as Minamino in the coming weeks and months.
Remember, Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
