Gareth Bale will be in Tottenham Hotspur’s FA Cup squad to face Marine, Jose Mourinho has confirmed to Football London.
Bale has recently been missing with injury, but the Welshman has returned to Tottenham training this week.
And Mourinho has suggested that the winger is eager to play against Marine on Sunday.
“He trained today first time with us so tomorrow second time and tomorrow after training we will make a decision and what I can say and it’s also a way to show you the way we are looking, the respect we have for this fixture, is that Gareth told me he would like to go and would like to play so if tomorrow if the feelings are positive, Gareth will come,” Mourinho said.
If Bale does start then it will be a sign of just how seriously Mourinho is taking the FA Cup this season.
The Portuguese boss has spoken of his desire to win silverware at Tottenham and his team selections in every cup competition so far have proven he means business.

Mourinho has hinted that Bale may not be the only senior Tottenham player to feature at the weekend, as he intends to put out a strong team.
Bale is yet to really hit top form since returning to Tottenham in the summer, but Sunday’s game will surely be a great opportunity for him to gain confidence and match fitness.
