The 21-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute and scored late on to help the Magpies to a 2-2 draw.
Newcastle manager Bruce has told the club’s official Twitter page that Willock was not happy when he found out that he was not in the starting lineup.
Right attitude
Willock joined Newcastle on loan from Arsenal to play on a regular basis, and him not being happy not to start is a very positive and encouraging sign indeed.

It shows that the 21-year-old wants to play and show what he can do, and his attitude must be lauded.
Being an Arsenal-owned player, the England Under-21 international would have been eager to start against Spurs, and now that he has scored against them, he will surely be over the moon.
