Jamie Carragher has told Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports, that he felt Curtis Jones was outstanding for Liverpool in their last match.
Liverpool picked up a much needed 2-0 win over Sheffield United on Sunday evening, as they finally got back to winning ways.
It was Jones who got on the scoresheet first, with a well placed finish in the second half.
And Carragher felt that the attacking midfielder adapted well to his new role, which allowed him a bit more freedom in the final third.
He said: “Curtis Jones, who Klopp said in midweek, has got to be more decisive in attacking positions and when he was in there he has got to finish. A lot has been made of his performance, I thought he was outstanding. He looks a real top young player.”
Jones does appear to be the very best prospect at Anfield currently.

Despite still being a teenager he is an important part of Jurgen Klopp’s side, and offers them a great amount of creativity.
Klopp has challenged him to score more goals and it is understandable why the German boss wants his midfielders to start hitting the back of the net more.
Liverpool’s front three haven’t been firing at their usual rate of late, so finding more players who can hit the back of the net will surely be key for the Reds.
