One Arsenal player’s father believes that the national team manager is to blame as his son struggles to make an impact on Euro 2024.
Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League title as they were pipped to the crown by Manchester City on the final day of the season.
Despite Arsenal not winning a trophy last season, the Gunners had a plethora of players who were at their best throughout the season.
The Gunners had a big selection of players who were selected for this summer’s European Championships in Germany and one of these has caused a stir with his father’s comments on the national team manager.

Arsenal player’s parent causes stir with national team comments
Leandro Trossard was one of Arsenal’s key players in the title run in last season with the Belgian winger scoring seven goals in the second half of the season for the North London club.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion winger was selected for his national team’s squad ahead of the tournament in Germany.
Belgium, however, did not kick off their tournament adventure in the best way as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Slovakia.
“I don’t think Tedesco is a good trainer for Belgium. Although he doesn’t have the stubbornness of Roberto Martínez,” Trossard senior said, as per Voetbal Primeur.
“Leandro gets criticized, but he was moved from one position to another. That way you don’t get a line in your game.
“Don’t underestimate those Romanians, Ukraine was not involved in their first match. But hopefully I’m wrong, the Belgians win and the enthusiasm flares up.”
Trossard’s ineffective start to the tournament
The winger featured for 71 minutes during the game against Slovakia and missed a glorious chance to score when the opposition goalkeeper was off his line.
Trossard has been one of the players who has come under the most criticism since that defeat but his father seemingly believes he isn’t to blame.
It wouldn’t be an international tournament without there being fallout in the Belgium camp, and it appears there is more awkwardness awaiting the world number three ranked side by FIFA.
