Even Liverpool fans are praising Seamus Coleman’s display for Everton last night.
Everton and Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw at Goodison Park, with defences on top throughout the contest.
Coleman had arguably the toughest task on the pitch, as he was given the job of marking Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.
However, he rose to the challenge and put in a brilliant display.
Coleman did not give Mane any space throughout the 90 minutes and largely shut out the threat of one of Liverpool’s most dangerous attackers.
Coleman’s display was so good than even Liverpool supporters were praising him on social media website Twitter.
Coleman has actually been questioned by some supporters at Everton over the course of the campaign, but his showing last night proved the quality that he still possesses.
Coleman and Everton will be in action again on Norwich City on Wednesday, while Liverpool take on Crystal Palace.
