Adrien Rabiot signing for Tottenham Hotspur this summer is a transfer rumour that could be getting a lot more mileage from here on in.
A couple of months ago it was reported by Calciomercato that Tottenham were interested in signing the Juventus midfielder during the transfer window.
And now it looks like the former Paris Saint-Germain product is on the move shortly.
That’s because Fabrizio Romano has reported that Rabiot has been transfer listed by the Italian giants – and that the player himself is trying to leave Turin during the summer.
He wrote on Twitter:
Adrien Rabiot signing for Tottenham Hotspur?
Well, don’t rule it out.
Yes, Yves Bissouma has just joined Antonio Conte’s outfit in a £25 million transfer.
But Tottenham will need a number of midfielders signed this summer and that’s because Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndomble and Giovani lo Celso are expected to be leaving the Lilywhites.
It’s imperative that Spurs replace anyone who they sell and considering they’ve only signed Bissouma, well it’s probable that he won’t be the only midfielder joining the North Londoners between now and September.
Whether Rabiot – who earns £175,000 per week – is someone who comes in, however, remains to be seen.
