Teemu Pukki has suggested that he is desperately hoping that Emi Buendia sticks with Norwich City, despite links with Arsenal.
Speaking to the Pink’Un, Pukki said his biggest wish this summer is for Buendia to stick around.
For Norwich keeping hold of their playmaker could be difficult, as Arsenal pushed strongly to sign him in January.
At that stage Mikel Arteta’s side opted against forcing through a deal due to his value, but Football London say that he remains on the Gunners radar.
Arsenal apparently have kept in contact with Buendia’s agents.
But Pukki is hoping that nothing materialises. The striker said: “He’s a top player.
”I get on well with him on and off the field. It’s my big hope he stays on the team. It’s so easy and nice to play with him.”
Pukki may get his wish, as Arsenal seem to have a new priority target.

Martin Odegaard’s displays since joining Arsenal on loan have been hugely impressive, and he will surely be their first choice number 10.
However, Buendia’s displays for Norwich will surely not have gone unnoticed to the North London side.
Buendia has continued to rip apart the Championship since being linked with Arsenal at the start of the year, and his displays will surely have caught the eye of the onlooking scouts.
